Move your WooCommerce store to Sidcraft Commerce: settings, tax, shipping, categories, brands, tags, products, coupons, reviews and orders.

== Description ==

Copies a WooCommerce store into [Sidcraft Commerce](https://wordpress.org/plugins/sidcraft-commerce-for-sidcraft-page-builder/) on the same site, in a few clicks. WooCommerce's data is only read, never changed, so your WooCommerce store keeps working until you switch.

**What is copied**

* **Store settings:** currency and number format, store country, weight and dimension units, tax on/off and prices entered with or without tax.
* **Tax rates and tax classes:** rates by country and state, your tax classes (Reduced rate, Zero rate…) and each product's class. Products WooCommerce didn't tax get a "Not taxed" class.
* **Shipping zones:** countries, continents, flat rates (including per-item costs such as "5 + 2 * [qty]") and free-shipping minimums.
* **Categories** (with their hierarchy, descriptions and images), **brands** with their images (WooCommerce Brands, Perfect Brands, YITH Brands) and **tags**.
* **Products:** simple, variable, external / affiliate and grouped products with prices, sale prices (scheduled sales become dated price rules), SKU, stock, featured flag, weight and dimensions (converted to your units), attributes, product image and gallery, downloadable files with download limit and expiry, upsells, cross-sells and sales counts. The same images are reused from your media library; nothing is duplicated.
* **Variable products** become one product with item options: "Size: Small | Medium +2 | Large +4". With one option, each variation's stock, SKU and image become its choice's. With two or more (Colour and Size), every variation becomes a combination with its own SKU, price, sale price, stock and image; combinations WooCommerce didn't sell are marked "not sold".
* **Coupons:** percentage and fixed discounts, minimum and maximum spend, expiry, usage limits, free shipping, allowed emails, and the products and categories they include or exclude.
* **Reviews:** star ratings, dates, verified-owner badges and approval status.
* **Orders** as history: items (with the chosen options), fees, coupon, shipping, tax, customer, addresses, payment method, transaction id, refunds, order notes with their dates and download links (keeping downloads left and expiry). Works with both WooCommerce order storages (HPOS and classic). No stock is taken and no email is sent.

**Safe to run again**

Everything that is imported remembers where it came from. Running the import again skips what was copied before, or refreshes it with "Update items copied before". "Start over" removes exactly what the import made.

**A report of what to check**

Anything that can't be copied exactly is listed: a tax rate limited to postcodes, a shipping cost formula, a variable product whose prices don't follow a fixed amount per choice (kept as a draft until you check it), coupon restrictions Sidcraft Commerce doesn't have, product tags, external products and so on.

**Large stores**

The import runs in small batches with a progress bar, so it never hits a time limit. With WP-CLI:

`wp sidcraft-commerce woo-migrate [--steps=products,orders] [--update] [--statuses=processing,completed]`

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate Sidcraft Commerce 1.9.0 or later, and keep WooCommerce active.
2. Install and activate this plugin.
3. Go to Store → Import from WooCommerce, choose what to copy and click Start import.
4. Read the report, check the listed items, set up a payment method, then deactivate WooCommerce.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does it change or delete anything in WooCommerce? =

No. WooCommerce's products, orders, customers and settings are only read.

= Do customers need new accounts? =

No. Customers are WordPress users and stay as they are; their orders are linked to the same accounts.

= Do product links change? =

Both stores use /product/your-product/ addresses, so links stay the same once WooCommerce is deactivated. If an address was already taken, the report says which product got a new one.

= What about pending and failed orders? =

They were never paid (abandoned checkouts), so they are left out. Tick them on the import screen to copy them too.

= What isn't copied exactly? =

Variable products with more than 200 combinations (stock becomes a total; prices that don't follow a fixed amount per choice are kept as drafts to check), stock shared by an "Any" variation, tax rates limited to postcodes, shipping costs based on a percentage or per shipping class, "exclude sale items" on coupons, backorders, and extensions such as WooCommerce Subscriptions or Bookings. Grouped products become a page listing their products. Each item affected is listed in the report.

== Changelog ==

= 1.2.0 =
* New: variable products with two or more options copy exactly: each variation becomes a combination with its own SKU, price, sale price, stock and image. They are no longer kept as drafts when variation prices don't follow a fixed amount per choice, and stock stays per combination instead of becoming a total.
* Combinations WooCommerce didn't sell (or without a price) are marked "not sold".
* Needs Sidcraft Commerce 1.9.0 or later.

= 1.1.0 =
* New: copies product tags, upsells and cross-sells, external / affiliate products (with their link and button text), grouped products, category and brand images, tax classes (and each product's class), per-item shipping costs, coupon exclusions, maximum spend and allowed emails, and each variation's own SKU and image.
* Needs Sidcraft Commerce 1.8.0 or later.

= 1.0.0 =
* First release.
