A Breakdance alternative that doesn't take over your site
Breakdance is a capable WordPress builder made as a modern replacement for Elementor and Divi. Canvasly Web Studio takes another route: design pages in a desktop app, then export clean pages into WordPress next to your existing theme, or publish them to any host.

Why switch from Breakdance to Canvasly
No rebuild. Breakdance works best when it designs the whole site. With Canvasly you add the designed pages you need and keep your theme, posts and plugins as they are.
Pages that don't need the builder to render. Each page arrives as a standard Custom HTML block, not layout data that only a builder can display.
One project, two destinations. Publish the same design to WordPress and as a static site, for example a fast landing page on its own domain.
Only the code the page uses. One compiled stylesheet and a script with just the features on the page, or none.
Design offline. Work in the desktop app without a live WordPress site, then import when you're ready.
When Breakdance is the better choice
Breakdance is the better fit if you want one builder to design the entire WordPress site, including headers, footers and post templates, and your team edits those layouts inside WordPress. Canvasly is built for designed pages that should load fast, look the same with any theme and publish to WordPress or any host.
Moving pages from Breakdance to Canvasly
Open the published page with Import → URL, or save it and use File → Open HTML File. Canvasly turns it into an editable project and copies its images, stylesheets and fonts.
Refine the design in the editor, or ask the AI assistant to restyle a section.
Export as WordPress, install the small Canvasly plugin and import the pages with Tools → Import → WordPress.
Check the new pages, then retire the old ones.
Questions
Is Canvasly a replacement for Breakdance?
For designed pages such as home, landing and campaign pages, yes. Canvasly doesn't build WordPress theme templates for posts or archives, so those stay with your theme.
Can I use Canvasly pages on a site that runs Breakdance?
Yes. Canvasly pages import as ordinary pages with their own template, so they sit alongside pages built in Breakdance.
Do I need a theme with Canvasly?
Your site keeps whatever theme it has. Canvasly pages show through the Canvasly full page template, so the theme doesn't change them.
