Advertisements
Open VidCellar → Advertisements. Ads play for an authorized viewer. They are non-skippable.
Schedule
Set Play an ad every to a number of minutes from 1 to 60. The stored default is 5. An ad plays when the viewer starts the movie, then again after each interval of playback time. Pausing the movie does not consume the interval. Choose Save Advertisement Schedule.
Add an advertisement
- Enter a title, up to 200 characters. The placeholder text is Sponsor / Advertisement.
- Choose Select Advertisement Video and pick a video from the Media Library.
- Choose Add Advertisement.
The video must be 15 seconds or shorter. VidCellar reads the duration from WordPress media metadata or from FFprobe. If the duration cannot be read, the advertisement is rejected. If it is longer than 15 seconds, it is rejected with the measured length.
Rotation
The list shows title, duration, Active or Inactive, and the date added. Activate, deactivate, or remove each row. Several active advertisements can rotate. If no active advertisement is available at a break, the movie continues without pausing. With no advertisements configured, movies play without ads.
