Pay-per-view
Open VidCellar → Pay-Per-View. Set every video’s price on one screen. A price of 0 means the video is not sold. The same screen shows each video’s membership rule and any active passes.
Each video has an access model. The site default is under Settings → Pay-Per-View, and a video can override it:
- Membership only. Qualified members watch it. Everyone else sees the paywall. Checkout and coupons are refused.
- Pay-per-view only. Visitors watch the trailer until they pay or redeem a coupon.
- Membership + pay-per-view. Members watch it as part of the plan. Everyone else can pay. The visitor chooses.
Paying unlocks the full video for 7 days unless you change Access length. Set that value to 0 for lifetime access. The rule is enforced on the server for MP4, HLS, and alternate audio, and a signed link never outlives the pass. Each renewal is its own sale, so the sales report keeps every payment and shows Access until.
Pay to Watch opens a checkout pop-up: email, PayPal, card through Stripe, or a complimentary coupon. The email on the form receives the private watch link and the end date, and it takes priority over the PayPal account email. Signed-in buyers receive the email too. When a pass expires, the page says when access ended and offers payment again. Purchases made before Pro 2.6 keep lifetime access.
My Purchases ([vidcellar_purchases]) and the account page list access end dates.
