Membership and who can watch

This screen is Pro. Open VidCellar → Membership. Lite 2.3 does not gate videos.

Set the site default: public, or logged-in users. Pro lists membership plugins it finds: WooCommerce Memberships, MemberPress, Restrict Content Pro, and Paid Memberships Pro, plus VidCellar’s own plans. Administrators can bypass the rules.

On a video, and on a category, Who can watch can be public, logged-in users, selected WordPress roles, or selected plans from a detected plugin. A video rule overrides its category. Existing rules from older Lite releases are picked up automatically.

A viewer who fails the rule sees the paywall card instead of checkout, unless the video’s access model also allows pay-per-view. Edit the card text here. The guest button reads Log in or Register when registration is open. It opens the front-end log-in page and sends the visitor back to the video. If access ends while a session is playing, the card replaces the video.

Combine this with an access model under Pay-per-view: Membership only, Pay-per-view only, or both. Checkout is refused for membership-only videos.
