Player

Open VidCellar → Player. These settings apply to the Watch page, the [vidcellar_player] shortcode, and the VidCellar Video block. A live preview is on the settings page.

• Primary, accent, control-bar, and menu colours, bar opacity, and corner radius.
• Your logo as a watermark: position, size, opacity, and an optional link. The player does not show a third-party brand.
• Which controls are visible, speed presets, the default speed, and keyboard shortcuts.
• Caption size and whether the transcript sits below or beside the video.
• Sticky mini-player: corner, size, offset, and what happens on a small screen (full-width bar or off).

Native browser controls, remote playback, and the download button are suppressed. Playback speeds run from 0.25× to 2×. When an HLS ladder exists, the quality menu offers Auto and each rendition. Safari keeps the system quality selector. Picture-in-picture and theater mode are available unless a watermarked video turns picture-in-picture off.

Per video, the shortcode and block accept sticky="yes|no" and transcript="yes|no|open".

The page stays light until play: one poster image, then the player script. hls.js is loaded only in browsers that cannot play HLS themselves. Subtitles, audio, and chapters are configured under Captions & Chapters.
